8) Nah Den Ace........

Has anybody just been watching Calandar tonight? They've been running a competition to find the region's friendliest street. The winner was Stonely Dell (I think that's what they said, not sure on the spelling though!)

Anyroad, does anybody know where it is? I've looked in my A-Z but can't find it. Mind you it looked a new development and my A-Z is from 1995.

Regards,

Spacehopper.

I've always found Mappin Street (and surroundings) to be quite friendly, especially after dark ;)

My A-Z shows a Stoneley Dell near to the White Lane tram stop - its near to the Charnock Hall Recreation Ground and Charnock Wood, and of course Stoneley Wood. It's in S8.

Oooops sorry ! It is in S12 ....

The border for crossing into the S8 postcode isn't far away... in the middle of Charnock Wood which is at the end of Stoneley Drive....
