Perhaps Mr Busdriver will be able to help me with this one... On the new double decker buses (eg: 41) what does the alarm mean? It goes off all the time and I just wondered what its purpose was?!

View Full Version : Alarm sounding on new First buses... *Twinkle* 30-01-2004, 16:19 Perhaps Mr Busdriver will be able to help me with this one... On the new double decker buses (eg: 41) what does the alarm mean? It goes off all the time and I just wondered what its purpose was?! Siān 30-01-2004, 16:20 Is that the one that goes off when the bus is stopping ? *Twinkle* 30-01-2004, 16:23 It goes off during any part of the journey. slh73 30-01-2004, 17:04 I think it goes off when someone presses the bell button in the bit reserved for wheelchairs near the front. Might be wrong though. Grissom 30-01-2004, 17:31 U sure Daveyboy hasn't installed a 'cute girl on bus' alarm [ http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/showthread.php?s=&threadid=6614 ] ???? *Twinkle* 30-01-2004, 17:50 Hmmm... Come on Mr Busdriver!!!!! fnkysknky 30-01-2004, 21:11 There's a bell type sound that sounds when the bus lowers for wheelchairs, pushchairs etc. Don't know if that's the alarm you are talking about. *Twinkle* 30-01-2004, 21:17 No, nothing like that fnkysknky.......... It goes off whilst the bus is in motion. duffman 30-01-2004, 22:18 If it's a high pitched pinging then i think it's the low water level warning or low air pressure one, it can be quite random. |
