And just HOW bloody amazing was that gig ?????? What an atmosphere. They are such a fantastic band with such passionate loyal fans. I adore them. Brought a lump to my throat.

and mine. It was a superb gig!! as good now as when i last saw 'em 16 years ago...maybe better since they weren't upstaged by their support this time (it was the Levellers back then!). I'd forgotten just how emotional an experience their gigs are...I know what tunes I'll be playing full blast all day today!

Yup - they were very good!

I kind of expected them turning up with a transit and a minibus. Did you see the SIZE of that double decker tour bus!

Great gig - Thanks Corp!

I know !!! It was really really emotional. Thats what i call an *audience*. Thats what i call *fans*. Thats what i call and *atmosphere*. Couldn't believe they played *Poison Street* and *Get Me Out*, 2 songs i'd forgotten all about. I only have 2 albums on CASSETTE (lol!!) believe it or not, but i think i may trawl ebay later......

I'd never been to a gig in the big room of Corp before. Could never imagine what it would be like as im so used to it as a club. Good venue though !!

Absolutely fantastic gig, my ears are still ringing! Let's hope we don't have to wait another 12 years for them to come back to Sheff.

Looking forward to Levellers in December now :D

Poison St always been my favourite so very happy and bouncy......saw them at Manchester a couple of months ago and they were soooooooooooooooooooooo much better last night.

Considering the Levellers now, not seen them in years and it would be my 10th time seeing them....Are there tickets left????

You obviously missed the Octagon gig about 6 or 7 years ago - but it wasnt very good - not a great loss! But still - last night was only their 4th gig in 20 yrs in Sheffield.

I thoroughly enjoyed it - I used to go and watch them alot - especially late 80s till mid 90s - but have slacked off a bit recently - but just about made it on the 95 bus to see them - and what a great gig it was!

Yes - it was very sad news. I was playing some tunes at a night in Bradford (Kulu) the week after and finished off with "Sleepwalking" - cleared the dancefloor but seemed quite appropriate...

I still think NMA are a great live band - but since Rob left in 97 - its just really been Justin Sullivan and a backing band - not quite the same... still they did rock on fri.
