it appers that the tackle shop has gone into recevership not good news for the shop as its been running for some years and has been the longest running in the town sad day for the fishing tackle trade read link

its a big shame if it has, it never really recovered from the floods. i used to love going down when i was a kid getting cheap hooks out of the bargain box and looking at the fish tank with the freshwater fish, carp barbel n tench etc.

i've spent a lot of money at bennetts over the years. not the cheapest shop but any major purchases such as poles + expensive rods could be paid for on 5 months interest free credit.
