Can anyone suggest a really up to date, state of the art mobile phone? I bought one last year, but it was more good luck than good management, and I don't suppose I can pull it of again.
Thank you.
Thank you.

FANTASTIC camera (2 megapixel - takes great photos even in dark places, pubs etc, has an LED that acts as a flash) and so easy to use... You can have mp3's as ringtones which are really easy to upload through computer and software (included).. you can also download your photos etc... Useful functions, neat size - I love it! I got it free on orange upgrade. Very glad i ditched my featureless nokia! Space 21-10-2005, 22:46 My Sony Ericsson S700i has been fantastic for the past 11 months on the o2 network! Its been the only phone Ive had that hasn't given me grief by breaking down or bugging up! It has a 1.3Mp camera/video/radio/MP3 player/Truetones/poly tones/large 256k colour screen/its a swivel so is also small/bluetooth/infrared etc. (it also makes and recieves calls!!!) :D benclements2 21-10-2005, 22:52 My girlfriend has a spare Nokia 7610 available to buy if interested?? My gripe with these 'super sophisticated, great camera jobbies' is that you may have a 1.3MPixel camera (or in your case a 2.0MP) but O2 limit me to sending JPEGs that are under 100Kb - so I have to think "ooh, going to send it as an MMS, better stick it in VGA - 640*480 mode). I did that for a while, but went back to 1.3MP mode and just eMailed several pictures to people in one go - saves b***ering about with the settings - just bluetooth them to my PC, and email them across.... This may be a point for the phone-buyer to consider... Note: I've only found this with O2, and JPEGs over 100Kb (aka 'decent setting'). HTH. Alex - :) Edit: Nokia's are rubbish - in the main, I've found: - SE's have a joke battery life - Samsungs go wrong quickly - Nokia's are featureless, but better batteries than their SE rival. - SE's go wrong when they've been dropped down a toilet at The Walkey Cottage. - Alcatel's are horrid things to use. |
