Dear all,

Having been Djing as part time job and being my ultimate love I have seen the past few years in Sheffield having a decline regarding Progressive House nights or even Radio Shows.

Thus since a student I was offered a show every saturday night from 7 to 9 on www.sureradio.com

What I would like to know is how many people in here still love that kind of music like the good old times in Gatecrasher , Bed nightclubs. There is some amzingly good talent in this music and it saddens me that fellow lovers maybe do not get the chane to listen to this kind of music.

Thus Please let me know how many would be interested not only in listening but also in Guest Djing in one of the shows. The station gets very good publicity and we are proudly up for the best student radio award this year. So get your mixes in if you are interested.

Lastly I am looking for some nice name for the show. For example nocturnal transmissions. My english abilty is limited in such issues so I want some catchy dreamy dark sad poetic name.

I would be very glad if I get some feedback so please let me know
Other than that
I hope you all have a very nice day eventhough is so moody outside

Oh you must be so smart. SO what do you define nice music. Maybe I can fit some Britney SPears in for you. Stupid ****er. If you do not want to leave a nice recommendation why you bother flamming. Bad day with the family I suppose huh?

But if you call your show "Sunset Chill" people listening might expect something slower and softer than "progressive house".

good on ya than u stick to your show mate..but surely theres plenty of your style of music about town. even tho i enjoyed my days at bed and gatecrasher i mainly went because most of my mates prefered that music but when the scene died down,i got back into hip hop wich is my true passion. good luck:)

and then the chillout period can be called Sunset Chill!

Not actually my type of music mate but I think its important to cater for them that do dig the music, so well done for doing it.
The big problem with radio is that they mainly go toward the latest pop music which is fine but an alternative is sometimes needed.

Mate

I used to go to both and although im not a big clubber anymore I would listen to it if it had people with a bit of talent.

Anyhow for a name how about.

Bedroom sessions?
Studio Sessions?
Progression Sessions?

Progressive House is brilliant!

.... and yes, we need more nights in Sheffield for this.

Hopefully, we'll start seeing some Sasha/Digweed gigs at The Plug?

Anyone remember the 'Subway' nights at The Arches (just before GC took over)?
