Also on the same site, thugs inserted a 3" gas cannister into a dog's backside causing obvious injuries.

Jailed for 21 days... i'm not a pet lover... and would never harm any animal... but agree this is just sick... i always thought a dog was a mans best friend... not enemy!

Seriously though, I know this goes on all the time and it shouldn't but when I see it in the paper it makes my blood boil.

WTF is wrong with this people. Look at his face on the news paper. How can they not jail him for much longer. I seriously hope some good men in Jail will **** him up for life. Otherwsie I hope god sends him the worst misfortunes every day. Makes you wonder sometimes. The poor animal has been tortured and th epolice as always do **** all.

the poor little dog, anyone who does anything like that is seriously sick in the head, they should have locked him up and thrown away the key, instead better still, make him endure exactly what he did to his dog!

And the evil B...... in question had already been banned from keeping animals for ten years before, for cruelty to the same dog. He then had the ban overturned and the dog was given back to him. Just for him to do more of the same ,which he inevitably did.

Hes only got a ten year ban AGAIN hasn't he , so some poor animal will suffer again in ten years time.

Should have strung him up by his B.......

What an evil thing to do and its disgusting that the law currently offers no sort of deterrent. The sentence is pathetic!

I'd have been better off not reading about it at work this morning though :( Crying is not a good look!

Sentences like this one make a mockery of our legal system. Here we have a clearly dangerous man, with previous convictions for animal cruelty, who has shown himself again capable of the most savage, condign cruelty. As many psychiatrists will attest, there are often links between animal cruelty and the potential to grieviously harm human beings. Put simply, if the man is capable of such barbaric behaviour towards animals, he could very well do the same to a person. I have no doubt whatsoever that the nasty, sociopathic piece of protoplasm will be freed only to sate his apetite for cruelty again and again. A jail sentence of ten years would not be inappropriate in these circumstances. Either that, or allow him to take his chances as a human minesweeper in Iraq.

I'd like to shake the hand of the judge that gave him that dog back- really really REALLY TIGHTLY and see how he likes being in pain.

There are sickos like this out there - fact.

The sad, and unexpected thing is the injustice. How can they possibly throw out that charge - ok, she could have been hit by a car or something and broken her ribs/back, but she can't stub cigs out on her own head.

The fact that this has happened before is the worst thing - you'd think they'd know.
I hope the judge who overturned his previous ban feels a whole lot guilty for this.

This guy will do it again, it's sad but I believe it's true. He's done it twice, 10 years on at the end of his ban, he'll just go out and do it again. He won't learn from being in jail because he's going there for a taster - that's all.

It's makes me feel sick that our justice system can let this happen :rant:
