I'm helping to organise a Book Sale to raise funds for the Weston Park Cancer Information and Support Centre. The Centre offers support for people with cancer, their families, friends and carers, and is based at 23 Northumberland Road, just around the corner from Weston Park Hospital.

The Book Sale is on Saturday 20th November 2010 between 10 am and 1 pm. A huge range of books will be available on the day, from fiction to reference books. If you have any queries about any specific titles or authors, please do let me know.

Any idea of typical prices you'll be charging? I'll probably come anyway but it's always useful to have some idea.

The prices will be anything up to £5, but there will be a great deal of books for 50p and £1.

Thanks! Yes, it is a great cause and I'm hoping that a lot of people will come along on the day.

If you would like to donate any books for the sale, I can always arrange to collect them. Please do message me nearer the time and I we can sort something out!

Just wanted to add a note to say that the Cancer Support Centre is very near to the 52 bus route if you don't have your own transport or would prefer not to drive. The 52 stops just outside Weston Park Hospital (or across the road if you're coming from the other direction!) and the Centre is 2 minutes walk from there.

There's a huge range of books going to be available at the sale. There will be a large selection of fiction, biographies and memoirs, and non-fiction on subjects relating to arts and crafts, railways, toys, history, cooking, gardening, television, antiques and collectables, Christmas and a whole lot more!
