I am looking into doing a 2 yr CPE cross over course at distance learning and then the 2 year LPC course at distance as well. Unfortunately in order to get this funded I have to have been working at my company for more than 2 years and I have only been here 6 months. Am running out of time to get this course underway and, given that it costs about £5500 for the first one and £6500 for the second one I was wondering if anyone would know of any funding opportunities for this sort of thing. I have looked on the internet at scholarships but nothing linked to this particular type of course.

Any ideas?

Thanks

I just tried to post you a link to the Law Society website, but I havn't posted enough times to post a link yet!

As well as the Law Society bursaries, it's worth contacting the institutions you want to study at direct to ask about any support available. Otherwise it's a whopping great bank loan.

Or you could beg your employer - DLA Piper obviously aren't short of money, judging by their new offices next to the Peace Gardens.
