Does anyone know of any in Sheffield? Moon Maiden Bluelunar 29-01-2004, 16:04 cant u go to any jewllery shop? :/ Moon Maiden 30-01-2004, 15:18 according to the peeps in sheffield who put the hallmarks on jewllery and the like now - it has to be a proper valuers. I think it may be because of it being old silver and having proper markings on it as opposed to the now common 925 stamp. It would probably not be valued accurately at a jewellers and we do believe the item is worth quite a bit both for the metal and for it's history.
