Hi all,
may seem a little early in the month but i was wondering if anyone knows where a bonfire and loads of fireworks are going to be this yr in Sheffield? i know Don Valley did one not long ago but am not sure if they still do. Also i reckon it could be better anyway. it seems ages since i saw some really decent fireworks! i know i may run the risk of sounding like a pyromaniac ;) but i just fancied going to really good one this year as last year there didn't seem to be anything like i remember there being when i was a kid. Any suggestions helpful but bear in mind i want to see BIG fireworks hehe!
thanks guys,

Tori

What is a matter with the world. When I was a lad everyone in the road had a bonfire we would go down the road into Norfolk Park a week or so before Nov 5 to get the wood or we would go and raid someone elses wood (before the estate was built). The Guy Fawkes we would make one out of old clothes and paper put it in a pram and push it around the street and shout out a penny for the guy.The money we got and we got some would buy some fireworks and sweets. GREAT NIGHT GOOD MEMORIES

Sheffield's tame when it comes to Bonfire night int it?
The best I've come across is The Fat Cat for big fire and general coziness and good times but thats a shocker for first place.
Where the f do people go in S7 and 8? its always so quiet.

here's an idea- save urself the money of going to don valley- go to the cinema at centretainment and if you time it right you can sit and watch all the fireworks or free while having a nice pint :D :D :D
