Dihydrogen Oxide (DHO) is colourless, odourless, tasteless, and kills uncounted thousands of people each year. Most of these deaths are caused by accidental inhalation of DHO, but the dangers of Dihydrogen Oxide do not end there. Prolonged exposure to its solid form causes severe tissue damage. In fact the U.S. Navy and other military organizations are conducting experiments with DHO, and designing multi-billion-dollar devices to control and use it during warfare situations. I got a bread making machine for Xmas and it's an obsession. For the first week I made a loaf every night. I'm on restriction right now as we are both getting to be as big as a house! Overload on carbohydrates. Banana nut, cinnamon raisin, white, whole wheat, jalapeno cheese, you name it, I'll make it. No chemicals or preservatives either. We eat it too fast for it to go off.

On the subject of apparently harmless substances...

Wholesale flour prices are on the increase so a loaf of bread could rise as much as 5p. :o

Bread also went up last month due to poor harvesting.
