Can anyone help please?? I need to download a particular song so that it can be played at a funeral this Friday. Mate of mine's mum died and he's asked me if I can do this.

Thing is :

i) I've never done it.......hows it work??
ii) is it illegal??

.....any other tips would be very welcome.

OK, Here's one possible solution of many:

look up itunes in google,
download itunes player,
once downloaded and installed, go to itunes music store,
look for your song in search bar,
if there, register your bank details (all above board),
buy and download song,
then buy a recordable cd,
then move your song into a new playlist (itunes will show you how),
then select 'burn cd',
you will now have your song on a cd that you can play on any cd player.

(like I said just one option. There are loads of download sites but you can trust itunes with your details and know it is all legal)

What about HMV in town?

What's the song? Maybe someone can help, or email it to you?

Mind you I seem to remember that HMV were trialing download connections in their shops. Don't really understand the point of that as it negates the main advantage of downloading from the comfort of your own home.
