Dear Sheffield (you look great despite the rain by the way)
Please be reminded that the brilliant Butterfly Wheels will be playing a gig tonight at Bar Phoenix (Sheffield Hallam Union Bar)... We'll be taking the stage at around 8.45 and entrance is free (in this day and age?!?) to students and non students alike I believe.
It'd be great to see you there if you can make it... as always we promise to kick up the usual storm of 'borrowed' Who riffs and 'tributes' to Stone Roses bass lines - in short, all your favourite bits of the rock n roll canon shot through with a trace of the Manics' lyrical bite and some of our finest Freshman's clothes.
Come and see us - we dare you... There's not much to lose and if you think we suck the Sheffield Tap's not too far away... bloody expensive in there though!
