Thomas Turton/Stephenson Blakes in the late 70s early 80s,this is where i had my 1st job as an office junior,i left about 82.

im sure i didnt work there alone,lol, the place is in town near the canal wharf,not sure if its a pub now , i think its a listed building so the office block is still there but the works behind it have long gone i think.

My brother inlaw Frank Tony Turton worked at his Uncle's firm which was known as Turtons,do not know if it's the same,It was a cutlery firm I think.

no it wasnt a cutlery firm they made coil springs,they also had a place at sheepbridge,nr chesterfield
