scoop   10 #1 Posted October 21, 2010 We've been camping for two years now.  I'm a regular poster on campsite.co.uk forums, and alot of people on there rave about the advantages of cotton/canvas over polyester tents.  Apparently you keep warmer when its cool, and cooler when its warm!  One thing I would like is not to wake up in the morning hot and sweaty.  I've sort of talked myself into asking Father Christmas for this http://www.tent-tents.com/overzichtpagina3.asp?cat=1&id=21&arid=1163  What do you think? Its a lot more money than I ever imagined I would ever spend on a tent.  Is it worth it?
 Share this content via...
Agent Orange   11 #2 Posted October 21, 2010 Yes. Canvas tents, if properly cared for, can outlast any poly tent.
 Share this content via...

Agent Orange   11 #4 Posted October 21, 2010 Thanks. I have tents coming out of my ears. I best abstain from another purchase lol.  A canvas tent will probably be the best purchase you've ever made.
 Share this content via...

Skink   10 #6 Posted April 6, 2011 did you get sorted for a Canvas tent ?  we got our Pyramid from Obelink and it was great, they do a cheaper model than Rosas that doesnt have ZIG  if the price is high but you like the style Relum Izmir on ebay would be pretty close and a quarter (at most) of the price  Another great choice is Lichfield Challenger in Canvas, again £50 would get a good one (once ebay tent sales quieten down after the spring frenzy)
 Share this content via...
