The Ratcliffe 26

An important moment for the Climate Defence Movement

On 12 April 2009, 114 climate activists were arrested pre-emptively in
Nottingham on the assumption that they were planning to temporarily
close Britain's second-largest coal-fired power station at Ratcliffe-on-
Soar. Charges were brought against 26 of those including activists
from Sheffield. The Ratcliffe 26 will stand trial at Nottingham Crown
Court from November 22nd
