Hi

Can anyone tell me what Waterthorpe is like.
I heard that Westfield can be a bit rowdy (don't know if this is true) but haven't heard anything about Waterthorpe.

Thanks

I lived on there for a few years. It's generally ok - much better than Westfield. I suppose it all depends on which area you'd be moving to and what you're expectations are.

I lived close to The Lea/Booth Close.

Hi
Thanks for your reply
I was looking at Thorpe Drive - not sure where that is in relation to Booth Close.
It seems fairly quiet though.

It's just round the corner, really. Yeah there are no blackspots in Waterthorpe as such - I always enjoyed my time on there. The area around the shop is looking a little scruffy, but the Hawk & Dove was a good local to me.

Waterthorpe is fine, some very nice parts to it. I think Thorpe Drive is near the school but may be wrong. Westfield is next door which some parts do have a reputation.

Yes, it does seem quite close to Westfield, although I have been over there at a few different times of day and it seems extremely quiet which is a good thing!!

We live just round the corner from Thorpe Drive and it is always nice and quiet with no problems, and near crystal peaks for shopping! House prices are still quite good in Waterthorpe and good investments I recon - good luck x

I live in westfield and this place did have a small reputation a few years ago but a most of the bad element has left... im just as close to waterthorpe as i am westfield centre and my parents live at waterthorpe... i did hear that there was a report in a paper sayin waterthorpe had recently took over the manor for crime statistics!!! but i dont know where they got there facts from....ive never seen any trouble in either westfield or waterthorpe in 3 years.

cept for little gits bombing down the path to peaks on their motorbikes.
