I"m going to be travelling to Sheffield, and I was wondering if anyone knows if Taxi's are available at the Travel Interchange at about 4 o'clock in the afternoon, or will I have to call for one? Also, does anyone know how much it would cost (roughly) for fare to Dore area?
Thanks

You can get a black cab from the train station at any time, however they are really dear. You'd be better booking one privately, to meet you at the interchange. Or even catching the no 50 bus to Dore from the interchange.

caprice;-
The number fifty bus to Dore has been renamed the number thirty.
It still runs the same route from sheffield, it just extends from sheffield interchange the opposite way, to woodhouse/ crystal peaks area

On the topic of buses - is that bus I used to get to C's still the 95 or is it now named the 95 or 96.
Usually I get the 31!

Seeing as you will be at the interchange, you can also get a train to Dore on the cheap

The train to Dore is dependent on the destination being the Totley /Abbeydale end of dore.
if it's the top end/ village end, then it's not going to be much help.
(also, i don't know how many trains stop at Dore, these days)
