Can anyone tell me whats happening with the electric in Ecclesfield.
my power has gone off for the last three nights running.
it seems to happen just after midnight and always comes back on at 4 in the morning.
its not a problem as my alarm is battery operated, but i don't want my lizard freezing to death.
are there any major works nearby that would need the power off over night.
any ideas

thankyou just rang them and they said it was due to a wide area network fault.
i would have asked them what exactly that meant but of course it was a recorded message with no option to talk to a human.
i would have verbally abused the message but i had been informed that the call was been recorded for training purposes, and i didn't want to leave any evidence.

That means somthing was broken, but they know about it and it should now be fixed.

Don't abuse the machine - don't you think it has a hard enough life spending all day telling people why they have no electric? :mad:

Last year they spent a couple of days chopping trees down that were allegedly interfering with the power cables that cut across the bridle path up by the side of Ecclesfield school. Perhaps they ned a trim again!

Must have been 4 power cuts this year in Ecclesfield now, and those are just the ones I've experienced while off work...
