I would recommend BB's Italian restaurant on Devonshire Street (near Halcyon Bar) It's really nice and friendly, and not expensive, but you can take your own wine, which makes it much cheaper!

Mamas & Leoneis is cheap and fairly romantic if you get a table upstairs.
