Gill is very nice if you know what I mean.

The new series is after his ear operation and he`s like a man having a crisis because he wants to be youthfull again.

I think i got hooked on CSI about three years ago - brilliant series. I enjoy both but do prefer CSI Las Vegas. Have any of you noticed that Sara doesnt really have a life - she's ALWAYS working. Such is the life of a CSI..

Just a note: I dont know if any of you read comics but CSI have a released two mini series and the first issue of the third series was released this month. They're more a collectors series but they are pretty good - Max Allan Collins is a brilliant author

Is anyone worried about Horatio's arms. Do they only go down as far as his hips? I like the Las Vegas one better. The actor who plays Grissom is the investigator out of the original "Manhunter" film and I think the original of the Al Pacino version of "Heat". Both very superior films in their own way.

From www.CNN.Com

LOS ANGELES, California (AP) -- Two stars of the CBS hit television series "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" were fired for breach of contract, KCBS-TV and Variety reported Thursday.

Actors Jorja Fox and George Eads, who play investigators Sara Sidle and Nick Stokes, were fired after asking for more money to stay on the show, according to the reports.

Danica Smith, publicist for both Fox and Eads, told The Associated Press that Fox was fired Wednesday but did not have details. Smith could not confirm whether Eads was fired.

A CBS spokesman said the network had no comment.

Eads didn't show up for work Thursday, the first day of production for the next season, according to the news station and Variety, which posted a story on its Web site Thursday.

The actors were in the fifth of their seven-year contracts.

Though a search was under way for their replacements, it's unclear whether show creators will recast the characters or develop new ones, the reports said.

The show picked up four Emmy nominations Thursday, including one for best drama series.

For all you CSI fans out there. Shame, I like both of these actors.

Also they have announced CSI New York is coming soon.

Maybe it's just me, but in CSI Miami it seems like Horatio hardly does any real detective work. He goes to the lab, finds out what they know, then goes and waits outside some building with his sunglasses on until the suspect comes out, and he just relays what he has been told in that oh-so-knowing tone... he's very cool, but doesn't seem to be that talented as a detective. :D

Sounds like a top cast for CSI: NY

I really enjoy watching both CSI's. I am fascinated by forensic science/ forensic pathology.

but, is it just me or has Horatio "fallen in" with his mascara?

His eyelashes always seem to be incongruously dark and thickened, when compared to his eyebrows and hair-colour.

hasn't anyone else noticed?

or is it just me and my keen eye for the small details that anyone else would miss? (I noticed on a promo' poster for Shane Ritchie's new book, that, in his photo he is very obviously wearing eyeliner and mascara)

P "had to do a double take!" T

Maybe they are darker because his eyelashes don't get enough sun, what with him even wearing shades inside.

I like both CSIs but Las Vegas is superior. I have mentioned this previously but I am seriously worried about Horatio's arm length. They only go down as far as his hips and permanently rest there except for the task of putting on and taking off his shades.

I think he must be good at geometry as well because he always stands at about 45 degrees to anyone he talks to and the camera. You cant take it too seriously can you. My husband and I have a really good laugh at his mannerisms. We love it.

There has been a taster of the new CSI New York at the end of the last series and that looks as if it could be good with Gary Sinise.
