I discovered to my horror last nite that Bert from Sesame Street is evil personified. Just look at http://www.bertisevil.tv [16 years and over only please !]
What other mild-mannered characters are evil ? I've seen the George/Zippy poll and could see that Zippy could be slightly evil, but nowhere near as bad as Bert !

When I was a nipper I remember an episode of the Basil Brush Show that had a dancing troll on.
It freaked me out! I had bad dreams for weeks after.
Remember it vividly!
There's lots of baddies & evil looking creatures in Power Rangers
And remember The He Man cartoon with Skeletor? He was a scary looking critter!
The child catcher from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang scared the pants off me when I first saw him . . . . . I was about 6. :o

Skeletor was a pussy, Mumm Ra off Thundercats was scary though! A big blue Mummy creature in a skirt.. WTF?! :shocked:

The Wheelers in Return to Oz scared me - but not as much as Mombi taking her head off screaming DOROTHY GAAAAALE - I had to be carried screaming from the cinema...
I agree Mummmrrraaaah was very scary. I used to be scared of the Moomins. And the dungeon master on Knightmare.
