loobylou2008 Â Â 10 #1 Posted September 26, 2010 should my tourer van be level when not in use? At the moment its on its wheels with the legs down but one corner of the van is slightly higher due to it been on a ledge on the garden , its not massively un-even but will it hurt the van long term? sTaGeWaLkEr   10 #2 Posted September 27, 2010 Hi Loobylou,  I wouldn't have thought that would be a problem.  What I would say though is that if it's going to be like that long term, I'd consider taking the wheels off and putting them somewhere safe and dry - as the rubber on the tyres can crack quite easily when not used. Lostrider   10 #5 Posted October 2, 2010 its, better to put a slight slope on it to aliow for rain / snow etc, to drain away.  Good advice, I always slope mine to the front. It certainly helps to reduct the amount of gunge / dead leaves etc that can collect on the top over winter.
 Share this content via...
