Y'know those download managers that allow resuming etc.
well a simular utility for windows copy, would be IMO very usefull for copying large files to a separate partition, harddrive or removable storage device.
preferably with entries into the context menu (right click menu for the newbies ;) )

anyone a programer, and up to the challenge :p

maybe i should patent this :D

Maybe someone at Redmond could sort out this 'feature'.

Another annoying one, while we're at it, is when you log on to Windows everything stops while the network drives connect. If you have to entrer a password or one of them is unavailable nothing happens, it just sits there.

I'd always wanted somthing along these lines, after a lot of searching I found:

No as you can't pause. I can sympthasise on how inconvenient it can be not being able to stop and resume on large data transfers.
