You could always order one of your minions to play in your place.
CorkerSWFC 22-09-2010, 22:12 We got 3 triallists turn up tonight, one is an old Ghananian friend of mine who i have known for some years now who i saw today and asked him to come down, if we can sign him up it will be a real pick me up after the shocking news about Joe, he's done his cruciate ligament he's out for the season.
Chuckie who turned up tonight is a top player, and and is exciting to watch, quick skillfull and plays the game in the right way.
Looking forward to Sunday.

Bad news indead about Joe it seemed inoculous when it happened if IRC he hooked a ball upfield while facing his goal and just went down like he'd been shot holding his legI don't think there was any other player involved
What happened to the other player was it a tackle or did he go over while running
When you see Joe give him PT and my best wishes

The other has been playing with the injury for a few weeks now and got to point where he needs rest and cant afford to play through it as its causing him problems afterwards.
He may or may not return, totally depends how his ankle is but even then, wouldnt be as much as he has been doing (age lol) Leaves us 15 players as another who signed but been busy every week has given up trying to play. Hectic life means he has now eventually ruled it out unfortunately for us.
2 players that came Sunday will be signing, hopefully! See them at next training session. Other than that, anybody who wants to train and join up can do, even if you cant play regularly.
We are looking for somewhere to train now in the evenings and will be looking round today for somewhere for the next few months at least on a Wednesday night.

Try Hillsborough College
3G pitch at the back on the college. £35 for an hour on there... and really good.
Ring Rob on 0114 2602566
I have booked on there for Hillsborough Hotel
ShefBoroFC 24-09-2010, 10:50 Also train on there wednesdays with Woodseats 7-8
Pink2Bubble 24-09-2010, 10:52 Booked Concord super 7s for next week, £36.50 for 90minutes on lit 3G pitch, which I didnt think is bad considering time you get compared to others.
Not much availability elsewhere it seems.
CorkerSWFC 24-09-2010, 11:15 90 minutes?
Thats a spot on price m8.
