I'm thinking of starting on one. Won't be a strict diet plan but will be trying to eat low GI food where possible. Has anyone tried this?

I'd go one up and go for a low GL diet. Low Glycemic Load not only gives an indication if the carbohydrate content of a food and how quickly it will raise blood sugar levels but also the quantity of carbohydrate contained. So Low GL is a more effective tool.

Get a good book with some good recipes and it is a good healthy eating guide as not only good for weight management but protective from conditions such as diabetes type 2.

All the best!

of the "diets" its the best. based on simple science.

Only work with exercise though - as with any weight loss plan
