S10er   10 #1 Posted September 20, 2010 I'm thinking of starting on one. Won't be a strict diet plan but will be trying to eat low GI food where possible. Has anyone tried this?
 Share this content via...
Renourish   10 #2 Posted September 22, 2010 I'd go one up and go for a low GL diet. Low Glycemic Load not only gives an indication if the carbohydrate content of a food and how quickly it will raise blood sugar levels but also the quantity of carbohydrate contained. So Low GL is a more effective tool.  Get a good book with some good recipes and it is a good healthy eating guide as not only good for weight management but protective from conditions such as diabetes type 2.  All the best!
