I want to knit a cheesey christmas jumper for me and my boyfriend this year. I am a bit of a novice knitter, (well a lot of one!!) and I have trawled the internet for a knitting pattern, but all I can find are stockings patterns and patterns for children!

I would like to give it a bash myself rather than go out and buy one.

So does anyone know anywhere I could get my hands on a couple of knitting patterns or if anyone has any I would be extremely grateful!!

Thanks you :)

There's a lot of work involved in these jumpers, and I have thought of knitting one for my Brother in law for several Christmas parties. I never have, but might go as far as doing a hat this year (smaller, less cost and less complicated) Your best bet might be to buy one off ebay (around £30). My BIL is too tight to pay these prices, which is probably why I never made the effort to knit him one. ;)

Atkinson's has patterns for christmas jumpers - trees, reindeer, snowmen etc in garish colours. I was in there on Friday and they were pinned up on display just beside the checkout in the wool section.
