Hello all,
National Pubs week takes place 21-28 February, designed to promote the pub (and bars) as a good place to go, and basically encourage more people to go to the pub more often.
It is a CAMRA supported initiative and Pubs and bars wanting free publicity material can order online at www.camra.org.uk/pubsweek .
Here in Sheffield, the local branch of CAMRA is taking part by giving free publicity to events taking place in pubs during National Pubs Week, through Beer Matters magazine, the www.sheffieldcamra.co.uk website and via press releases. The deadline for Beer matters has now passed, however all reasonable submissions made will be listed on the website - if you know of anything happening in pubs you go in (or if indeed you run a pub that is running events) please email or PM me and I will stick the details up on the Sheffield CAMRA website.
Note it doesn't have to be a pub that sells real ale to be included, as NPW is purely to promote pubgoing.
