Yeah, I currently have a cold :(

Annoyingly bad timing as well, just when I was planning on going to the Dev Cat meet later

He's just told me even soup didn't cure him. It must be serious.

Yes its true, ive been hit by the "Man-Flu", so no forum meet for me tonight.

Seems like a lot of people have been struck down by it lately. I'll be better once BoroughGals given me some soup and patted my head!

I've not been feeling great the last few weeks. I've even noticed a loss of appetite (which never happens to me:suspect: )

Started in the middle of September with flu like symptoms. The 5th day started with the room spinning etc (sobber). Then started with the build up of catarrh on my chest and a bad cough last week. started this morning with sore throut again today.

Had it two weeks ago.
Started at 11.30pm one night and I finally sopped throwing up at 5.30am the next morning.

Threw up 8 times in total all night... couldn't even keep water down.

Also had a dose of the other (lower region loss of brown fluid) at the same time. Not a pleasant bug by anyones standards.

Wife also had it, sister/mother/brother-in-law also had it.

Yep... it's seriously nasty!

I've had a really odd one for the last few days. Woke up with an all over itchy and sore rash like german measles (but I know it's not) accompanied with sore throat and headache, then link that in to a stomach bug too (unless I actualy have 2 viruses at the same time) that has killer gut ache with the diarrhoea.

It's been such fun, and the best the doctor can say is that antihistamines could stop the rash itching (which it doesn't).

I'm feeling much better now, but it's been a rough couple of days.

Yep me and hubby are pretty crook at the moment with this bug! Fortunately not the stomach one - headache, sore throat and feeling absolutely knackered.
Of course his is man-flu and mine's just a cold!

Not a great day for it as it's our son's birthday and we are shortly about to be invaded by a classful of 7year olds :help:

Feel free to al come to my house and purge your illness on my housemates personal effects (See my recent post :gag: )

I'm feeling weird at the moment, but as i work in the uni everyone puts it down to freshers flu.

I feel really tired having had about 3 hours sleep last night, due to feeling totally bunged up and not able to sleep at all.

On the plus side I listened to the great "Up All Night" on 5Live, and now know all about the election in Liberia and the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation strike!
