Hi everyone,
Just wondered whether anyone could help. I have downloaded Antivir (virus protection software) having previously used Norton. On scanning, it has picked up "worm/agobot.36864"
It says that it is unable to delete or repair it. What ist it and what should I do?
Thanks for the help
David
Get yourself a copy of Nod32 mate for a starters, its miles better than what you got at the minute and will sort the problem for you.
Also I'd recommend using Microsoft AntiSpyware as well to see if that clears owt nasty off your system that might be hidden in the background on your PC.
Hope this helps you mate

Or....
AVG Free from Grisoft (free.grisoft.com), which is (as the name implies) FREE (for personal use). Has a small footprint, email scanner, regular updates, scan on demand etc.

And has been known to kill some legitimate files:(. Better with SpyBot (with TeaTimer installed & running) plus AdAware Se.
Thanks for the advice. I still cannot seem to rid of it though and am still unsure what it is....have searched on google and it appears to be a remote trojan horse?????
appears to have various aliases though including "backdoor" "gaobot" etc
Any help anyone?
