The Manager 14-09-2010, 14:57 Just thought id warn you all .
The following has happend in sheffield but its mainly other areas im told.
It seems a 3 or 4 Youths/teens are Putting a baby carseat at side of road with a baby doll in , As if the baby has been dumped or left by someone.
At distance it looks like a real baby !
A car passers by and as you would stops to check , Then the teens/youths Jump out from hiding and rob the car driver ! there main target are lady drivers!!
Police do know about the above and urge all drivers not to stop but to contact them if you come across the above .
It mainly happens late at night and on less busy roads !
Just thought id pass this on

* I must admit that I fell for it at the time, and every time I saw a child in the side of the road I would swerve to hit them just to make sure.

See, it wasn't a friend of a friend this time. Which is why I actually believed it.
It was actually a close family friend, I remember her having to have tests and everything. I even remember where she said it happened. How very odd.

It happened to my friend too, he was still in shock after finding that doll in the car seat, just after his wife had her stomach pumped after eating at some curry house where she saw Lionel Ritchie in a lift.
