JillM is running the Wool and Textiles fair again this year at St Mary's Church, Walkley, supporting their Church Roof Fund and Bluebell Wood. There is also a beautiful crocheted throw to be won hung up in The Wool Baa window being raffled off in aid of Bluebell Wood, raffle tickets available from the shop.Follow link for further information (http://www.thewoolbaa.co.uk/wooltex_46.html)

Thanks for organising Wooltex, Jill. Holly and I really enjoyed it. Would have liked to see more wool there, BUT, a good few hours were well spent and Holly had a go at lace making, felting, peg rugs and came away with a drop spindle to make c/w a bit of fluff! Really liked the stuff on Touchy Feely Textiles  Roll on next year!

Was packed when I turned up. Did you really finish those doily jobbies in that short space of time Sherakapod? I'm impressed! Forgot to start a separate thread regarding feedback for JillM, so this thread will be the one for everyone to air their views. Don't forget to take your purse pixepear!

Hope it's busy today for the sake of the charities. Bluebell Wood stand always has something to spend your £1 + on, so dig deep!!

Curse me and my reading skills - I went to the wrong St Mary's!!! It might be an idea if there are any other function to help them there that is a bit thick to put a postcode ;)

I liked the Tea and Tarts sheep to garment display although there was some muttering from Mr W4B when he saw the fleece. He seems to think that there is some bagged in our garage which is a total and utter fabrication (it's in my mum's garage and it's alpaca anyway)

I liked this too - as did Laura (8 ). She had a go at spinning and was told she was "a natural", so we're now launching a joint campaign to get MrG to let us have a spinning wheel!:hihi:

The church does not have a postcode Moonfire as all post goes to the vicarage. As it is on the main road running through Walkley it is not exactly difficult to find.
