Just been watching this film,takes me back..........would love to hear peoples opinions of what happened to Jimmy?
Did go over the cliff on the "ace's" scooter?
Is he now an accountant in an office?

From the run of the script the whole film was building up towards Jimmy killing himself, because he'd been sold down the river by everyone in his life. He had nothing left.

He was also pretty far gone with the drugs, and logically he would have gone over with the bike. However, I gather the film makers bottled out and so had the bike going over as a symbolic end to that phase of Jimmy's life.

The ending has always peeved me slightly, the not knowing, did he or didn't he?
I think they [Not Hollywood please!!!!] should make a sequel and we can watch Jimmy realise a far better way to live his life was to get involved in the rock scene and become a biker, if nothing else it'd be entertaining watching his thin frame trying to kick start an old british machine, Tee-Hee-Hee

And on the way he took Wallbuilder's advice to get involved in the rock scene (or 'pop scene' :cool: ) by making a single and video with Blur :D
