Hi :)
I am a second year law student at the University of Sheffield and sometime soon I will have to start applying for a summer placement at a law firm. Most of the people on my course seem to have connections or contacts, however with me not being from Sheffield (or even England for that matter, I’m from Canada) its going to be a difficult process. The university isn't really helping and just expects us to find something on our own, so I was wondering if anyone could please offer me any assistance? I am mainly interested in property law. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.
Please PM me or reply to this message.
Thank you so so much

Just send a CV with a good covering letter to lots of firms in the areas you are willing to work. Thats usually the best way.

Not much I know, but its the best advice I think.
