Mark Ronson produced doo wop party pop from LA.
"Release Me is reimagines the Shangri-las as if they were backed The Kinks: lip gloss smothered melodies puckering up to throbbing hard and heavy beats. It’s a sound the band are keen to stress has always been in their record cabinets; regularly paying homage in interviews to these bands along with The Zombies, The Beatles and Dusty Springfield. It's an influence that they say got lost on their over-produced debut. Release Me does have similarities to their debut with Z berg’s familial husked vocals, lyrical witticisms and ear for a catchy melody, but this really is a whole different band." DrownedInSound

“Sometimes it hits you, like a blow to the face” warns Richard Rice, part lippy kid, part knowing conveyor, and he’s right too. Cos when it doesn’t it doesn’t, but when it does, you just know. Mabel Love are four young men from Sheffield currently causing a stir. Shaped by the city that made them for sure, but their musical outlook is much wider than that. Shades of Bunnymen, Nick Cave and flag-waving era U2 combine to sinister, moody effect; at once intriguing and arresting the listener. Mabel Love are growing in size and following as they convert each who find them. When you know, you know.
/// Kiziah and the Kings

Three Guys and a Doll, Kiziah and The Kings are a 4 piece band from the Doncaster area, starting out as a small acoustic project and resulting in a full band with essential elements from a variety of different styles, soul, reggae, soft rock, jazz, blues, the list is endless.
The sound they produce is hard to describe as they all have our own input in many different ways and the 'beautiful' noise they make is influenced by a great deal of different music, emotions and experiences.
