The FBI has joined efforts to track down who took part of the computer code to one of the most highly anticipated PC games of the year, Half-Life 2. Federal agents mounted a dawn raid on a San Franciscan computer programmer last week, seizing hardware and software. The FBI action is the first sign of a serious criminal investigation following the appearance of part of the Half-Life 2 source code on the internet last year. As a result of the leaked top-secret code, which accounted for about a third of the game, the release of Half-Life 2 has been delayed twice. It is now due out in April. - more... Considering they are prosecuting a girl for joking about carrying a bomb (discussed here (http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/showthread.php?s=&threadid=6374)) you would think the FBI had nothing better to do with all that extra funding and staff

Pfft.... since when does the source code to a computer game pose any kind of security threat to the US or anywhere else for that matter?

Seriously the Americans are stupid, and it's partly George W Bush's fault for being so gung-ho about the issue, especially iraq etc, him and Tony Blair have been so far up each other's arse about Iraq and other terrorist threats nobody knows what's going on anymore.

The US needs a new Prez in my opinion, one who would actively tackle the terrorism issue, but not be so "trigger happy" a la Bush.

Also the world in general, especially our Government, needs to stop being so far up the Americans' trousers, it's like the likes of Blair are the likes of Bush's personal yes men, they're like, Bush or any other US President says "jump" and our Government are falling over themselves to say "How high oh mighty American Master?".
