A grandmother who has been handing out £5 notes to passers-by has explained: "I don't need the money."
Ruby Dickens, 79, has approached people in Liverpool city centre for three days and offered them a five pound note.
She gives away around £150 per day and targets mainly students and young people "who look like they could use it". But she will not carry on for much longer, as she only has £1,000 to give away.
