I downloaded msn messinger 7.5 today but I cant sign in it keeps saying there is a problem singing you in please try again later. my firewall is not blocking it I dont know whats wrong any ideas

Also, which firewall is it? Have you tried Gaim recently? I have been using it on Ubuntu and Windows for a while, defenalty much more satisfying to use than any other...except Gaim's Mac offspring Adium!
