This might sound like a stupid question to all of you, but I'm going to Belfast in March. We're going on the plane and I just wondered whether I'd actually need a passport??

Bookey 21-01-2004, 23:56 You would do, I needed one from Leeds Bradford to Glasgow in Nov. So I can see Belfast needing one.:) mikey 22-01-2004, 07:36 Yopu dont technically need one, but all internal flight operators are now asking for passports to prove identity. If you haven't got one, ring them and ask if a driving license will do. Tony Ruscoe 22-01-2004, 08:02 You don't technically need a passport to get into the Republic of Ireland either (or at least you didn't when I went last February). However, you did need a valid form of ID that had your photo on it - which included a driving license (but not a Student Union card, as a friend's friend found out  )! A passport is the safest option though! |
