Yes Molly has found a fantastic home - thanks for asking and careing. It makes all work in rescue worthwhile -Message from Mollys new family on facebook -
We brought Molly home tea time yesterday. After a run in the fields and woods and some tea she settled down for the night in her own bed.
This morning she went for a nice run on the field with our other two dogs and many of our local dogs. She came home and had breakfast, played in the garden then had a nice shower. ...Such a perfect lady how can she have been overlooked for 8 months. No mess, no chewing just fitted in so well. Everyone who passed her by your loss our gain

- This is just one of the wonderfull hapy endings we look for everyday - Fingers cross for the others - SEE ABOVE and on the RR Site - still waiting to make someones home as happy.

aww i thought it was her she is very similar looking to diamond so i had a bit of a soft spot for her. she was doing really well beautiful girl. her owner made me laugh we were doing this exercise where all the dogs and owners went round in a circle and the trainer stood in the middle giving commands ie sit change direction ect and the last dog to obey was out of the game. i was on the edge watching the bf handle diamond and i had a glance over at molly her owner pulled her front legs out from under her when they gave the lay down command lol. i told him that was cheating lol and he laughed and sushed me she looked very happy

Yeah that little greyhound at Thornberry pulls at the heartstrings, such a gentle soul and as thin as a rail. And the elderly chap with mange. Who will adopt him? There are so many lovely dogs there. Well, they're all lovely aren't they? And cats and kits. Very impressed with the conditions in which the guinea pigs and rabbits live. Heaven on earth for them. And the bird compound is great. Good place to support and would be a good place to volunteer to help out. Sarahfrog would love to hear from you, rushed off her feet she was! x

I was shocked when they said that the poor thin starving greyhound had been brought in wearing nail varnish. someone had owned him, and been close enough to ridicule him and paint his nails - but couldn't be bothered to feed the poor soul.

Lets hope he finds a good home soon.

Hello nichols5 and magsie and everyone ! Firstly, thank you very very much for your help - I'd have struggled without you! I'm glad Nigels' event went well too. The Bank Holiday weekend was great fun and I hope everyone who came enjoyed it as much as we did. The wind was a bit fierce but nothing got blown away and we laughed a lot which is what its all about.
Good news on the skinny greyhound: in a home!!!!!
Theres' a chance for everyone to lark about with the dogs this sunday -
Thornberry is having its nutty DOG SHOW!! Entries from 12 noon and theres' a fancy dress class if you're that way inclined! So come and strut your funky stuff with us.
SEE YOU THERE
