I used to watch F1 as a kid but have stopped watching it recently, as it got boring. Just discovered that some people have started a Rocket Racing League - with rocket powered craft flying a virtual track in the air like the racers on Star Wars :

They'll go at 320mph and have pits stops and the like :thumbsup:

I saw a program some time ago about something similar but with stripped down, souped up jet planes. The speeds were unbelievable :o
