A few weeks ago some car thieves broke into my car. They popped the lock on the passenger door but did not get anything cos they were useless.

Today some mindless moron decided to give it a go and tried popping the drivers side door. Morons made a mess of the door lock but the door remained firmly locked.

If they broke in - I am not stupid enough to leave anything valuable in there. They could try driving it away but with steering lock, engine imobilizer and various other such features they would not get far, and then would have trouble escaping from the duffed locking system.

Why do they bother? Maybe they are after my cigarette lighter or the fag butts in the ashtray.

I dunno. What is the country coming to?

Cant wait for the day car alarms are in the form of sending 50,000 volts through the little blighters!

Or maybe some 'robocop' type flame throwers!

where was your car parked? my mate had the side of his door pulled out by the window when they failed to break to lock - just damaged it instead. Nothing in the car to rob though!!!

Many, many years ago a programme on TV demonstrated the 'ultimate' car thief deterent.

It consisted of:

A. The thieves got in easily.

B. They were able to start it and drive off easily.

C. All the doors and windows locked.

D. After 200 yards the engine cut out and the wheels locked up as if braking gently.

E. The hazard lights started to flash

F. The alarm began to sound.

As if being locked in someone elses stolen car, in the middle of the road with lights and alarm attracting everyone's attention wasn't bad enough............

G. The cabin filled up with evil-smelling smoke which dyed the skin and clothes purple.

The fact that your car would be a mess after this experience stopped this system catching on, but wouldn't you just love to see these thieving cretins go through this.

They have some great deterrents in South Africa.... such as the following ...!

15ft flames from the underside of the car.

electrically charged door handles.

high powered 'nails' fired into the groin area from under the steering column

some beauties there I'm sure you will agree....

Imagine catching your poor old AA man off guard with one of those..... toasted, loss of bowel control, and then having his knackers pinned to the seat.

I think a good self locking car which would contain the buggers trying to pinch it could do with a canister of CS gas which would be released ten seconds after the doors self lock. Now that would really give them something to think about.

West Yorkshire Police have a couple of sting cars that they place in car parks under surveillance. The cars have remote locking from the surveillance vehicles, and the scrote just has to sit there and wait for the rozzers to come and let them out, just in time to lock them somewhere else.

No nails or hich voltage I'm afraid, but I'd really love to be the one who pressed the button and lock them in.

Few years ago, someone was taking our car at night for a joy ride, then bringing it back and parking it back outside our house, yes we left the keys in it, to catch him my husband took the door handle off the drivers side, left the window open so he would close it with the window opening, he did just that while my husband sat waiting for him holding the phone to call the police, kid couldn't get out with my husband standing at the other door..... well police came, caught him..... he ran, fell down, broke his leg.

Turned out to be a policemans son, never been in trouble, just wanted a car for a few hours a night, car was a piece of junk anyhow........ few days later my husband got a write up in the paper... they titled it Inspecter Cousteau strikes again, somethng like that.... was funny anyhow.

Maybe there's a lot of envy around and people aren't used to seeing a Ferrari in Hillsborough? Park it in a garage, I'd say!!!

I "suggested doing similar things to Ian Huntley last week, and all the do gooders came swarming out of their shells.

Let the car thieves get what's coming to them, but child killers. That seems to be fine :loopy: :loopy: :loopy: :loopy: :loopy: :loopy:
