I'd say mine were rock, Alternative and Breakbeat.

Still i like everything pretty much from the list and so i can't add a vote.

I think many people will be the same, they don't have a particular favourite instead they like all music

Hopefully anyway, i'd hate to think i was somehow a fanatical music geek.

Even though I love house music in most of its forms, there is no better track title in the history of popular music than Half Man Half Biscuit's 'Deep House Victims Minibus Appeal'.

…horrified not to see jazz as a category. Refuse to vote on the basis that jazz has to be counted in the nondescript melting pot which is ‘others’… shame on you!! :nono:

the only proponents I know of who ever got Radio 1 airplay are the now defunct thekevorkiansolution.

Seconded!!!

I've always heard Naked City/John Zorn described as Thrash Jazz, but I guess they would come close to this genre. Close enough for Jazz, anyway. Painkiller and Last Exit might be closer though. All good stuff by me.

Edit: Naked City also have some track titles to give HMHB a run for their money. I've always been fond of Jazz Snob Eat Sh*t
