I've always found the 'blonde clone' thing a bit obvious - It works for genuinely pretty girls who don't have to try too hard (or those that are naturally blonde) but for aspirants it seems like a predictable uniform which illustartes of a great lack of imagination. Orange tan, bleached blonde hair etc etc.... 'Labrador blondes' I sometimes unkindly refer to them as (though never within earshot, to avoid a beating!).

Being able to hold a good converstion, to listen as well as speak with passion, and to have infectious enthusiasm for the things they do, rather than that kind of 'whatever' attitude that marks them out as self obsessed and a bit simple.

Of course all these qualities apply in equal measure to guys as well. Funnily enough, a general level of happiness and confidence is always a real winner.
