The local NCT branch's local Bumps and Babes group will be host to a Baby-Led Weaning (BLW) Discussion. If you are thinking about introducing solid food to your baby, you might like to discover the delights and ease of letting you baby do it for themselves. Come along and talk to parents who have experienced it themselves, as well as simply chatting over the practical issues involved. Bumps and Babes takes place in St Andrews Hall, Nether Edge S11 9AL from 10am – 12pm

Hi, The group is still running, but the Baby led weaning discussion is a irregular event, and only happens sporadicaly. We will post on here when it happens again. In the mean time, why don't you check out the baby led weaning blog and forum... They can be really handy. There is a book and a DVD by Gill Rapley which are really useful too. Also, there is a possibility that your local children's centre may be running a session on weaning and they may talk about baby-led weaning at that. HTH
