Does anyone know when and why Poundland in Meadowhall
closed. I went on Friday to stock up on the usual rubbish, and found it was closed.

Hadn't you heard? I bought the business for a pound.:P

Seriously though, haven't a clue why it's shut. This is news to me.........and it's the wife's birthday soon as well.:help:

Don't fret, "Tat 'R' Uz" (where i spend too much of my time, too!)is not closing...

they aren't "shut", they are relocating on the other side of the statues, in a larger premises, underneath Boots.

I love Catherine Tate's Granny!!!

I have never darkened the door of a pound shop... worried that i wouldn't be able to get enough stuff to make minimum payment on my gold card.
