Stephen, I saw those and thought they were great value for money. Only problem is I don't have a car at moment so it seemed like a hell of a trek to nearest bus stop for me to get to work in Rotherham. The hill is incredibly steep coming off there so I wouldn't fancy footslogging when it's icy - but nice houses I thought.

its stuck between the flower estate and brightside- Council estates full of hoodies.

Thats why the houses are so cheap!!

When Ridge View Drive was first built, around 23 years ago, it was very nice and no one from the other estates bothered you. We only lived there a couple of years and then moved, mainly because I had a baby and didnt like the local schools. The house I lived in,no 14, was nice and well proportioned.

I know quite a few families up on Ridge View both in the older and newer houses, and they all really like it up there. Both Brightside and Limpsfield schools are really nice too.

Im sure the schools are fine now Liz. About 23 years ago Brightside school was nestling amongst the many steel works belching out smoke, and the associated pollution from the roads. There was a report of very high lead levels monitored in the playground at Brightside school. This was thought to have an effect on children's intellect. As I say, this was 23 years ago ... now there are no steel works the problem doesnt exist, I presume.

Out of curiosity Stephen, did you decided to move to Ridge View? Just made an offer on a property in the cul-de-sac part.
