left handed computer monitor required,I need it to connect to my left handed PC.

other items required:
Left handed light switch, left handed spade and a left handed mobile phone charger.

I will consider swapping the above as I have a right handed cutlery set that I dont need.

have a nice day :D

Have you considered buying an adaptor that will convert most PC monitors and keyboards to the opposite hand? I think argos stock them and as far as I know they are around £15.

It might be better than changing the whole lot.

As for the other items: I don't think they make left-handed light switches anymore, they have been banned by the EU so you'll have to cope. The left handed spade problem is easy, just don't do any digging anymore.

I have a left-handed mobile phone charger that you can hawe, but it is only suitable for phones that make left-handed calls.

As for the cutlery set, one of my neighbour's friend's cousins aunties eats right handed and she may be interested.

I'll find out if she is for you.

Checked Argos, but they have sold out and not due another delivery for a few months.
They do a good line in left handed shoes though and have a new line just come in of left handed fish tanks.

I looked into this but petworld said they only sell right handed fish,is there anyway of converting them ?.

In relation to the phone charger,I cant remember the last time I made a lefthanded call,my new phone is dual hand but most of the calls made are right handed.

Thanks anyway

No but Pets At Home do a lovely range in left handed Gerbils... but don't forget the left handed type cannot breathe under water.

There's no need to convert your fish to fit the left handed tank, tempting though it is to try. The simplest method is to dismantle your tank ensuring that you mark all the sides, bottom and top so that you can tell which is the inside side of each, which is the outside side of each, which edge is top, side (left and right) and bottom.

Now take the bottom panel with the side marked bottom on the top and the edge marked left to the right and place it where you're going to have the tank. Take each of the side panels and place them alongside the bottom with the sides marked outside to the inside and the edges marked top to the bottom. Using this method you should be able to re-assemble your tank so that the fish think that they're in a right-handed tank.

Warning: Remember to take off the label identifying the tank as a left-handed tank. Fish are stupid by nature but they can still read.

I must say, I took all this into consideration when we purchased our hamster. One half of me wanted a right-handed version of this fascinating breed, but sense told me "buy left-handed you daft bugger!".

Apparently, right-handed ones will only eat right-handed food, whereas left-handed hamsters are of a 'culinarily ambidextrous' nature and will happily munch away at both types of food.

I know the that the right-handed variety of small rodent nutrition is often in short supply as it is shipped from the continent where they practise right-handed driving.

Of course, Britain is unusual in the fact that we practise driving of the opposite hand and so stock-levels of left-handed food are obviously much better maintained than the levels of the opposite hand.

Yes I agree, the same can be said for the airtraffic control system,as they operate soley on left-handed monitors is crucial.
This is mainly because all aircraft are fitted with a right hand deflection deviator (lol),and thus preventing the aircraft from falling to the left.

There is also a reverse vector system as well, this prevents aircraft from reversing into mountains.
It is a very successfull system with a 100% success rate, this is proven by the fact that there are no recorded events of planes reversing into mountains.

If you like burgers, Burger King might be able to satisfy you:

The advice on this thread is very usefull because Right handed people live, on average; nine years longer than left handed people do.
This may be due to the fact that more than 2500 left handed people are killed every year from using right handed products.

so dont take shortcuts

OK... funny as it is, this thread doesn't actually warrant being in the "Wanted" forum, so I've now moved it to "General Chit-Chat" where the left / right handed discussion / advice can continue...
