I've seen Sinclairs on West Street (the shop that sells china, vases, home goods, etc...) mentioned in another thread - Casablanca / Mr Kytes (now Regents Terrace?) (http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/showthread.php?s=&threadid=3579) - and just wondered if people were aware of what's going on with the shop at the moment...

(i) They've currently got a "Demolition Sale" on - offering upto 90% off selected items, so if you want any posh vases, wine classes, dinner sets, chandeliers(!), etc... then get down there ASAP!

(ii) The reason why they've got the sale on is because they're knocking down that whole block and rebuilding it to include a new shop on the ground and 1st floors (I think) for Sinclairs with 2 or 3 floors of "luxury apartments" over the top of it!

If you go in Sinclairs, they've got the plans and some artist impressions at the top of the stairs which you can have a look at.

Just thought that might interest some of you who didn't know...
